Nemschoff Introduces ReposeTM Sofa for the Comfort of Guests
Repose transitions from sitting to lounging easily and quietly, with a mechanism-free design.

Now there’s a way for hospitals to help guests feel right at home, and support their important role in caring for patients.1 With built-in configurations for sitting and lounging, Repose—designed by Cindy Carpenter-Smith—provides individualized comfort in one unit, so guests can work, converse, or rest while remaining at the patient’s side.

Repose changes positions without requiring complicated maneuvers. With the seat back in the low position, a guest can engage in conversations or complete daily tasks. Lift the back up, and the person has a deeper seat depth for a more relaxed posture. The optional pullout ottoman complements this mode, creating a chaise lounge position.

This flexibility of postures Repose offers is particularly important in the patient room, where guests often spend long periods of time, during which they are more comfortable if they can vary their posture depending on the activity.

Repose’s high degree of utility is matched by its inviting appearance. The design of Repose offers clean, contemporary lines and refined details, resulting in an elegance that can transform the typical patient room into a more tranquil environment. Finally, in keeping with the high-traffic nature of healthcare environments, Repose uses high-quality materials and construction methods for long-life expectancies.

Premiering at NeoCon, Repose will be available in the North American market beginning in December 2017.
