EAST GREENVILLE, Pa. — Knoll, Inc. will introduce new collections by Piero Lissoni – the KN Collection, Avio Sofa System and Grasshopper Tables – adding to company’s existing portfolio of designs by the Italian architect and designer.
The KN Collection
True to the Knoll ethos, the KN Collection is a family of lounge chairs that navigates seamlessly between residential and workplace applications. The collection combines a nuanced sense of proportion with exquisite detailing in Lissoni’s signature refined aesthetic.
“I wanted to reflect the modernist spirit of Knoll,” states Lissoni. “The designs are minimal, providing exceptional comfort capable of elevating any interior and creating a moment for relaxation.”
KN01, a low-back lounge chair, features a curved silhouette and aluminum base. Its balanced proportions deliver a compact footprint and inviting form ideal for modern living, meeting and community spaces. A second version, KN02 is a high-back lounge chair that offers extended and neutral positions, suitable for a quiet refuge. Its smooth reclining mechanism as well as its soft, supportive seat and back adapt to different postures, providing a remarkable freedom of movement. KN03, a cushioned ottoman, serves as either a footrest or stool.
The KN Collection is available in a polished aluminum or painted charcoal swivel base as well as a range of KnollTextiles fabrics and Spinneybeck leathers.
Grasshopper Table and Avio Sofa System
In addition to the KN Collection, Knoll will also offer Lissoni’s Grasshopper High and Low Tables as well as the designer’s Avio Sofa System, available for the first time in the United States. The Grasshopper Tables – in a circular or rectangular top with rounded corners and in a range of marbles – express a clear, geometric aesthetic and visual weightlessness. Easily adaptable and versatile, they add an equally refined presence to either residences or public spaces.
The Avio Sofa System features an innovative, modular upholstered sofa component design with a relaxed and informal style, incorporating a metal framework and soft cushions with clean lines that conceal its complex structure. The Avio Sofa System is available in a range of KnollTextiles fabrics and Spinneybeck leathers.
