Herman Miller (NASDAQ: MLHR) announced today that it has been awarded a platinum medal in recognition of its commitment to sustainability and corporate social responsibility (CSR) by EcoVadis, placing Herman Miller among the top one percent of all companies assessed worldwide.
EcoVadis is a France-based global CSR assessment agency providing the world’s most trusted business sustainability ratings.
The assessment comprehensively covers four key CSR themes practices: environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. Herman Miller scored high in the categories of environment and labor and human rights, which is a reflection of its successful efforts to protect the planet and treat its employees well.

EcoVadis assesses suppliers operating in over 160 countries across 200 industries. Its proven methodology incorporates various international CSR standards, including the United Nations Global Compact, the Global Reporting Initiatives (GRI), and ISO 26000. Assessment results from EcoVadis are used by more than 65,000 companies.
