ZEELAND, Mich., June 9, 2025--Herman Miller will welcome the commercial design community into its new showroom during Design Days, taking place June 9-11, 2025, at MillerKnoll Chicago, 1100 West Fulton Market. Now situated on the first floor, the refreshed space showcases the brand’s award-winning portfolio of workplace solutions—all rooted in Herman Miller’s legacy of problem-solving design that inspires the best in people. Herman Miller products will also appear throughout collaborative spaces from the broader MillerKnoll collective, including the “Manufacturing Modern” exhibition, specially relocated from the company’s recently announced archives, and a dedicated healthcare showroom in the new MillerKnoll location at 1144 West Fulton Market.
Created specifically for Design Days, the Herman Miller Seating Lab invites guests to explore the brand’s leading ergonomic seating solutions and discover their ideal fit. Featuring chairs shaped by decades of research and innovation—including Aeron, Cosm, Embody, Mirra 2, Sayl, Setu, and Verus—the Lab highlights ongoing advancements in comfort, materials, and sustainability. Guests who find their match will receive a collectible hat (while supplies last).
Herman Miller also highlights the addition of Aeron ESD Chair and Stool to its legendary Aeron Chair line-up. The first performance suspension chair designed specifically for electrostatic discharge (ESD) environments, Aeron ESD addresses the need for comfort and support in workspaces commonly found within the tech, semiconductor, and innovation sectors, such as clean rooms, data centers, laboratories, and electronics assembly areas.
Making its Design Days debut, the Spout Sit-to-Stand Table combines a clean four-leg design with quiet, in-line motor actuators that provide smooth height adjustability. Available in a range of sizes, colors, and finishes, Spout supports individual and team ergonomics across a variety of settings. It’s also the first Herman Miller product to feature Ello Power Access Solutions—a new DC power system designed for seamless power access and device charging in commercial environments.
Visitors will also get a first look at the Eames Molded Plastic Dining Chair. Originally introduced in 1970 as EC-127, the Eames Molded Plastic Dining Chair designed by Charles and Ray Eames is being reintroduced with 99 percent post-industrial recycled plastic and contemporary colors. And for the first time ever, it’s available in a non-upholstered version, making it an excellent choice for high-use environments like offices, libraries, dining rooms, and restaurants.
On the second floor of the new MillerKnoll location at 1144 West Fulton Market, Herman Miller will introduce the Gemma Seating Family and enhancements to the Mora System. Designed to meet the needs of all individuals within a healthcare environment—from patients and their family members to dedicated healthcare providers—Gemma Seating Family is an intuitive collection of recliners, a sleep chair, and sleep sofas. Enhancements to the award-winning Mora System, designed by Colin Nourie, include expanded upper cabinets, shelving, and towers; soft-close hinges and slides; a recycle and trash cabinet; a benching option; and new standard hardware and design details, and expanded design flexibility for other commercial environments.
Across the Herman Miller showroom and integrated MillerKnoll spaces, guests will experience the brand’s ability to support a wide range of settings and floorplans—from focused work areas to collaborative environments and beyond. Visit the Herman Miller website for more details.
