Mark Buikema

Chief Technology Officer, MillerKnoll

Mark Buikema serves as Chief Technology Officer, leading MillerKnoll’s global technology strategy and teams across enterprise systems, digital platforms, data, and emerging technologies, including AI. In this role, he partners closely with leaders across the business to ensure technology enables MillerKnoll’s long‑term strategy and supports innovation at scale across its collective of brands.

Mark has more than 25 years of experience at MillerKnoll, having previously held a range of senior technology leadership roles in both North America and international markets, including Vice President of Technology, Americas, and Vice President of IT Strategy and Digital Innovation. In these roles, he worked on critical enterprise platforms and digital capabilities that support the company’s global operations.

Prior to rejoining MillerKnoll, Mark served as Chief Technology Officer at BISSELL, where he led enterprise technology transformation efforts and strengthened digital and operational capabilities across the organization.

He holds a B.A. in Information Technology from Michigan State University.  Mark and his wife Sonya live in Grand Haven, MI and have two children.
