MillerKnoll Earns “Best in Class” Excellence in Supplier Diversity

Great Lakes Women’s Business Council Honors MillerKnoll’s “Best in Class” work in supporting diversity across their supplier network

The Great Lakes Women’s Business Council awarded MillerKnoll the Excellence in Supplier Diversity “Best in Class” award for 2023 – the highest-level award given. This award honor corporate members who have successfully integrated supplier diversity into their business practices and have excelled in all categories surveyed, including WBE spend, WBE capacity building, and advocacy of women-owned businesses.

“It’s an honor to be acknowledged again by the Great Lakes Women’s Business Council,” said Lynn Garrison, Senior Manager of Supplier Diversity at MillerKnoll. “Our team works hard to ensure our network of suppliers is rich in diversity, and that shines through in moments of recognition like these.”

The MillerKnoll Supplier Diversity team creates and activates proven successful strategies to leverage diverse suppliers for MillerKnoll. The team seeks to continuously improve Supplier Diversity spending by advocating on behalf of Diverse Business Owners to increase equity within the supply chain and dealer networks.

More on the “Best in Class” Award

The “Best in Class” award is the highest ranking that companies from Michigan and Indiana can receive in the supplier diversity category. This is the second year the company has received the award since Herman Miller and Knoll combined as MillerKnoll in July 2021. Previously, Herman Miller was first honored in 2016 and has maintained Best-in-Class status since 2019.
