For over 20 years, the MillerKnoll Healthcare Scholarship (previously known as the Herman Miller Healthcare Scholarship) in conjunction with the AIA Academy of Architecture for Health (AAH) has been sending emerging professionals seeking licensure to the 2022 Healthcare Design Expo and Conference (HCD) free of charge. Each recipient receives a full conference pass and a stipend to help cover additional travel costs.
“MillerKnoll Is committed to finding ways that encourage excellence in health care architecture and connecting young architects with meaningful opportunities to grow and jumpstart their careers,” says Michelle Ossmann, PhD, MSN and Director of Healthcare Knowledge and Innovation at MillerKnoll. “This scholarship program has been an integral part of that strategy for over two decades. We are thrilled to be offering it again this year.”

The 2022 Healthcare Design Conference and Expo will be held October 8th-11th in San Antonio, Texas at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center. HCD is dedicated to highlighting the latest research and strategies in healthcare design, as well as showcasing innovative products that support the thoughtful design of hospital and clinic environments.
