MillerKnoll’s Latest Design Perspective Session Expands on the Forces Driving Change across the Design Industry

In March, MillerKnoll hosted over 30 leading architects and designers from across North America to participate in an immersive experience to examine the design industry. A series of engagements set the foundation for participants to discuss and collaborate on ideas around industry trends and challenges. The result was passionate design leaders identifying pressing issues, developing a plan for the future, and setting an agenda to affect change in the design industry. And the takeaways from this event are now available for download.

MillerKnoll continued the dialogue in its latest Design Perspectives virtual event. The session invited three leading A&D professionals -- Diana Farmer-Gonzalez, IIDA, AAIA, Design & Strategy Consultant at 03 Design Studio, Brett A. Shwery, FIIDA, AAIA, CID, LEED AP, Senior Vice President & Interior Design Director for Americas & Globally at AECOM and Melissa Strickland, Principal and Workplace Sector Lead at HLW -- to discuss their perspective on key drivers of change impacting the design industry. How these drivers show up in their practice, the opportunities and challenges they see, and how we move forward together.

“When you bring bright minds together to collaborate and problem solve, innovation and inspiration follow,” commented Alan Almasy, Director of Architecture & Design Practice Group at MillerKnoll. “This latest Design Perspectives session continues the work we began earlier this year, and we will continue to foster collaboration across our field as we work to build the future of the A&D industry we serve.”
