Throughout the 3daysofdesign, guests will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a captivating landscape installation on our rooftop, engage with thought-provoking talks on neuroaesthetics and the future of design – and enjoy an exclusive preview of our September launches. We are also thrilled to announce the winners of Muuto Design Contest 001, celebrating these rising talents who will be honored and showcased during the event.
Grounded in Nature – an immersive landscape installation
For this year’s 3daysofdesign, Muuto is collaborating with Kinda Studios to create an immersive installation that seeks to reestablish our connection with the natural world. ”Grounded in Nature” is a landscape installation set atop Muuto’s rooftop, offering visitors a pause, away from the rush of the city, and the opportunity to reconnect with nature’s rhythm.
At the heart of the installation is the Dream View Bench by Lise Vester. Designed to invite moments of reflection and daydreaming with its smooth curves that embrace the body’s natural shape, gently guiding the gaze upward toward the sky. As a sensory-focused piece, the Dream View Bench is part of a broader movement in interior design that emphasizes spaces meant to be felt and experienced, not just observed.
Rooted in the science of neuroaesthetics, the ’Grounded in Nature’ installation immerses the senses in sound, scent, texture, and visuals, creating a harmonious experience. In collaboration with Swell Studio, known for their expertise in soundscape and composition, and Studio Pneuma, who crafted the scent experience, we’ve created an environment that invites both reflection and connection.
Muuto Design Contest 001
At last year’s 3daysofdesign, Muuto introduced the Muuto Design Contest 001, inviting emer ging designers from around the world to submit proposals within the accessory category. This contest not only provides a platform for rising talent but also reflects Muuto’s design ethos – one that celebrates curiosity and offers new perspectives on Scandinavian design. During the event, we will announce, honor, and showcase the three winners in our Muuto Spaces in Østergade.
Pre-launching Designs for September 2025
Be sure to explore our showrooms on the 3rd and 4th floors, where we will present an exclusive preview of our September launches. Among the notable pieces are the Dream View Bench by Danish designer Lise Vester, Beam Wall Lamp by Canadian designer Tom Chung, Looped Lamp by Swiss designer Dimitri Bähler, Midst Coffee Table and Rime Rail Lamp by Swedish design duo TAF Studio, and Pair Candleholder by Norwegian designer Lars Tornøe.
