MillerKnoll Associates Create Positive Change on Global Day of Purpose

On November 5, associates from across MillerKnoll and its family of brands came together for the fifth annual Global Day of Purpose – a day dedicated to giving back to communities worldwide. Each year on the second Tuesday in November, MillerKnoll facilities worldwide close for this special day. Associates are encouraged to engage in meaningful volunteer activities and for those in the U.S. to exercise their right to vote, reinforcing MillerKnoll's commitment to civic engagement.

Associates participated in a range of community service efforts, including helping animal shelters and cleaning up parks, beaches, and nature preserves. Many were involved in fundraising events for charities, assembled essential supplies for local families, and prepared meals for children dealing with food insecurity. Others made meaningful contributions by donating blood, clothing, and critical items to organizations they care about.

“Global Day of Purpose is always a special time for all our associates to come together and support causes they care about,” said Linda Brand, Director of MillerKnoll Global Philanthropy and Foundation President. “After five years, I’m still in awe of the collective power of people, partnerships and purpose which fuels our giving worldwide on this amazing day.”

In just one day, MillerKnoll associates hosted nearly 400 events globally and volunteered more than 13,000 hours total. Global Day of Purpose is one of the many philanthropic efforts led by the MillerKnoll Foundation, which works year-round to foster a culture of giving and community support.
