Herman Miller and the American Academy of Architects (AIA) are excited to announce the 2021 scholarship recipients of the Herman Miller Healthcare Scholar Program in partnership with the AIA Academy of Architecture for Health.

The annual scholarship program, which began in 1999, is a result of Herman Miller’s continuing commitment to excellence in healthcare architecture and support of emerging architects. The AIA makes scholarship selections based on the applicant’s experience and expressed interest in healthcare architecture.

The program provides sponsorship to the Healthcare Design Expo and Conference that takes place annually. The event includes more than 100 educational sessions with the latest strategies, research, and trends in the healthcare design industry and is organized to provide comprehensive content with inspirational keynotes, panel discussions, and networking. An exhibit hall is available for attendees to view the newest innovations in healthcare design products.

In addition, the award provides networking and learning opportunities through Herman Miller’s healthcare organization. Drawing from its healthcare leadership and expertise, Herman Miller has been creating forward-thinking healthcare environments for 50 years. Its products, capabilities, and processes help hospitals and care facilities deliver the future of healthcare for patients and healthcare providers.
