As Chief People Officer, Chris Demuth leads our Human Resources, Belonging, and Talent teams where she is instrumental in fostering a culture of belonging and empowering all associates to thrive in their roles. 

Joining MillerKnoll in 2024, Chris draws from her extensive experience in human resources and leadership, using her passion for employee engagement as she guides her teams to re-envision the HR function and deliver a unique and exceptional associate experience for all team members around the globe.  

She previously served as Senior Vice President, People, Neiman Marcus & Bergdorf Goodman, leading ESG, Belonging & Philanthropy, and also held several human resource roles across Gap, Inc.’s global operations, including serving as Vice President, Human Resources, Old Navy. Chris holds a B.S., in Sports Medicine from Penn State University, and Ph.D in Diversity/Cultural Studies in Education from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.
