John Michael

President, Americas Contract, MillerKnoll

John Michael serves as President of Americas Contract, where he leads contract marketing, sales and distribution, and ancillary portfolio strategy for our collective of brands across North America, Latin America, and the Caribbean. John also oversees global shared services, including customer care and product services.

Along with leading regional marketing, distribution, and portfolio strategy, John also works closely with the MillerKnoll Research and Insight team to connect our clients and dealers with the actionable data they need to create inspiring spaces, and solve customers’ needs today and tomorrow.

John began his career at Herman Miller in 2017 as Vice President of Distribution Channels. Since then, he has held several contract sales and distribution leadership roles within the company, and gained invaluable insight into one of our collective’s foundational brand identities. Prior to his time at Herman Miller, John served as Vice President and General Manager of Business Interiors by Staples and President and COO of Ivan Allen Workspace.

He holds a B.S. in Business Administration and Management from Wake Forest University, and an MBA in Business Administration and Management from Queens University of Charlotte.
