Herman Miller Group Hosts First Day of Purpose

Herman Miller and its family of brands participated in its first Day of Purpose – a paid day off for its global employees to vote and make a difference in their communities. In the US, employees were encouraged to use their voice to vote in the national and local elections – and then use the remainder of the day to give back. For its international teams, employees had the entire day to make an impact in communities.

In collaboration with Herman Miller Cares, its corporate foundation, and global giving program, the company provided several opportunities to make a difference in its global communities including beach and park clean-ups, donating blood, and food packing events.
