MillerKnoll Associates Make an Impact on Global Day of Purpose

Associates from across MillerKnoll and its collective of brands joined together for its Global Day of Purpose on November 7 – a day off from work for its associates to give back.

On the second Tuesday of each November, all MillerKnoll facilities around the world shut down for the company’s annual Global Day of Purpose – a day where associates come together to give back to their communities in meaningful ways. This day also allows all US-based associates to exercise their right to vote in local elections as part of MillerKnoll’s commitment to lowering barriers to voting.

This year, MillerKnoll associates spent their Day of Purpose volunteering at animal shelters, cleaning up parks, beaches, and nature preserves, participating in charity fundraising walks, packing toiletries and other goods for neighbors in need, and preparing meals for children experiencing food insecurity. They also donated blood, clothing items, and essential supplies for organizations they care about.

“After four years of Global Day of Purpose, I’m still amazed at the power of the MillerKnoll collective of brands when every individual associate comes together to create positive impact in the communities in which they live and work,” said Linda Brand, Director of MillerKnoll Global Philanthropy and Foundation President. “Our teams continue to demonstrate our shared value of using business as a force for good, and I cannot wait to see what next year’s Day of Purpose has in store.”

Across the globe, our associates came together to give back in all MillerKnoll communities through more than 150 organized volunteer events and countless individual actions.

Global Day of Purpose is just one of the many philanthropic engagements driven each year by MillerKnoll Foundation.
