Powered by People: MillerKnoll Celebrates Earth Day

At MillerKnoll we believe that together we can do more – more for our planet and more for our people.

This month we celebrated Earth Day in partnership with our company foundation and Sustainability Resource Team (SRT). Our teams spent this month cleaning up and giving back around the world.

In Pennsylvania, volunteers spent the day cleaning Lock Ridge Park and the Perkiomen Creek in partnership with the Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy. Our Northern California team cleaned up a local beach. In Michigan, teams planted pine trees and removed invasive species at the Outdoor Discovery Center and picked up microplastics on local beaches in partnership with the Alliance for the Great Lakes.

Geiger teams in North Carolina and Georgia cleared over 4,000 pounds of trash from local rivers with the Chattahoochee Riverkeepers and Catawba Riverkeepers. In India, our teams planted saplings with Happy World Foundation. In New York City, we joined forces with the Madison Square Park Conservancy to help keep city parks clean.
